Content
The course specifies the frame within which behavioural biology developed. You gain basic insight into behavioural biology by focussing on "Tinbergens questions" on a proximal level. You practice the basic competence of formulating the right questions about behaviour.

Digital learning
This course will be partially taught on-line, partially live on-campus. The planning can be found on Toledo. Bachelor Degree students via Distance Education take no lectures or practical courses, but will receive the study material and study the course by self-study. They can come in contact with their fellow students (distance learning platform or Toledo). Student counselling sessions during the semester will allow you to ask questions about the theory.

Assessment in January. The exam is a written on-line examination. In preparation for the exam some example questions are provided on Toledo. There is "correction against guessing" on questions with true-false answers or multiple-choice questions.
Distance Learning: The exams are written on-line exams and are normally planned on weekday evenings.
