A. Admission requirements

The admission requirements described in the Education and Examination Regulations. 
This course can only be included in the ISP with a study progress of at least 100 credits.
Exceptions can only be granted by the study counsellor.

B. Prerequisites
The student masters the competences and objectives associated with the courses Academische vaardigheden (phase 1) and Project (phase 2).
Taking the course Dataverwerking within the same year or already having taken it is an advantage.

C. Mobility permission
The student must have permission from the study program to carry out a number of activities abroad (in the context of this course unit).
This permission is granted after the student took the appropriate administrative steps, consolidated in a Learning Agreement.
If a student is unable to include the course in his progam (ISP), the approval to go abroad will automatically be withdrawn.

A traditional project with either a research project, a design of business case, resulting in a manuscript that contains

  • thorough definition of project goals
  • thorough literature review
  • materials and methods explained
  • data collection and analysis
  • discussion and conclusion

The project and research is presented at a public defense, with a jury of experts on the subject. 

Instructions (manual) and evaluation documents are providend on the program website and/or on Toledo. 

The language of the research activities, the coaching, the manuscript and the defense is agreed upon after consultation between promotor, copromotor and student.
