Content
Theory and practical implications of the following topics will be teached - in general and applied to several animai species:
1. Domestication
2. Study of animal breeds
3. Population genetics
4. Fysiology (reproduction, senses, thermoregulation). A closer look will be taken on the specific differences and specialties of each system per animal species.

Colleges: this is mostly a theoretical course during which the theory will be taught via a combination of lessons on campus and online lessons. Lessons will mainly be digitalised and made available via Toledo, as well as the accompanying powerpoint presentations and thus can be consulted by CAM and HAO (distance education) students. For CAM-students there will be regular contact moments integrated in the program – exact data and hours will be communicated via Toledo. Contact moments may either be on campus or via Teams-meetings.
Distance education: monitored self study. Bachelor Degree students via Distance Education take no lectures, but will receive the study material and study guide and will be in contact with their fellow students (distance learning platforms). Student counselling sessions during the semester will allow you to ask questions about the theory.

The exam is organized during EP2 as a written exam online on campus.
Formula scoring is used for multiple choice and true/false questions.
For distance education students, evening exams will be organised.

During the second chance exam, the same modalities from the first examperiod will be handled.
