To be able to submit a bachelor's thesis, the student must have obtained all credits of the course units up to and including phase 2 of his main track.
This can be deviated from if the student can achieve a significant reduction in study duration as a result.

Bachelor Thesis and traineeship:
The student works on a single project/problem statement. Additionally, a general view is needed: besides working on the bachelor thesis assignment, the student also does a traineeship, the student takes up difeerent roles and assignments that may be important in their future work environment.
The bachelor thesis includes:
A preliminary study
A presentation at the end of the preliminary study to explain the assignment and the approach
A 12-week period at a company or at the school. During this period, the student works on the bachelor thesis using various methodologies to find a solution for their assignment. Additionally, the student also gets acquainted with other aspects of their work environment through different roles.

This is a bachelor thesis and traineeship, no specific courses are held, information will be shared on our digital platform and through direct communication with the assigned mentors of the school and firm.

The student will be assessed on three parts: the attitude, the work at the company or school, and the product (dosier, presentation).
This assessment has 4 parts:
Technical skills, knowledge, and attitude at the company (20%)
Dosier (30%)
Presentation and Q&A session (50%)
Continuous evaluation (Pass/Fail)
The weighted sum of the three partial scores is an indicative grade for the Bachelor thesis and traineeship committee (Core team). If the score of continuous evaluation is a “fail” or if any of the other 3 scores is lower than 50%, the total result will be reduced to a maximum of 9/20.
The indicative grade is confirmed or adjusted by the committee in specific cases. The committee must justify significant differences with the indicative grade (more than 1 point difference) or adjustments from a passing grade to a failing grade (e.g., from 10 to 9).
