In these courses you choose laboratory work because you want to join the research of diseases in humans.
The meticulous execution of laboratory research is the focal point of the program.
Each affiliated laboratory offers a wide range of laboratory tests and uses up to date instrumentation.
Students search literature on the field of study and create a portfolio about the research.
During the project they accurately complete the various steps of biomedical methods under supervision, acting in a problem solving manner.
They write a coherent and traceable report about the multiple experiments and give a presentation about the work.

Spring or Autumn Semester
Study load 375h. During the placement period students work five days per week.
Students work in a lab of a Hospital or a Medical lab near the Odisee Technology Campus in Ghent from where the project will be managed.
